What time do you open & close?
The Anchor of Hope Place is open from 7 AM to 5:30 PM, Monday through Friday. We operate on the NYC DOE academic calendar.
What meals do you serve?
We provide nutritious and balanced meals, including breakfast, lunch, and an afternoon snack. All meals are prepared with children's dietary needs and preferences in mind, ensuring a healthy and happy experience.
Is there a dress code?
We observe a uniform dress code. Our uniorms can be purchased at Cookies. Please contact our ofice or more information.
What if my child gets sick while at school?
If a child becomes ill during school hours, parents will be contacted immediately to pick them up. We follow strict health and safety protocols to ensure the well-being of all our students and staff. Please refer to our complete health policy in our parent handbook for more details.

Do you offer pick up/drop off services?
Currently, we do not offer pick-up or drop-off transportation services. Parents are responsible for bringing and collecting their children at the designated times. We encourage parents to arrive punctually for smooth transitions and the safety of all children.
How long do students nap?
Students have a scheduled rest period each day, typically lasting about 1.5 hours, to ensure they are well-rested and ready for afternoon activities.Our kindergarten class has a 30 minute rest period. Children who do not nap quietly engage in other restful activities.
Can I send my child with lunch or snack?
While we provide comprehensive meal services, parents may send packed lunches or snacks if their child has specific dietary needs or preferences. We kindly ask that any packed items adhere to our allergy-aware policy and are healthy options.
